is a live, online programme that helps you create a great freebie, set up your email list in MailerLite and connect it to your website and / or social media platforms, with plenty of encouragement and support.

It is NOT a pre-recorded, do it yourself training that leaves you frustrated and demotivated! 

Starting on TBC we have one call each week for 4 weeks

 

What will we cover?

Session 1

Creating a Freebie

We start by thinking about what your freebie could be (this is what you’ll be offering in exchange for people signing up for your email list). I’ll show you how to create a professional looking document (ebook), audio file or video and we’ll talk about the all important GDPR compliance.

Session 2

Setting up your Account 

We’ll be setting up our MailerLite accounts in this session, creating a list and thinking about  how  you will be segmenting your subscribers to make them easy to use.  We’ll also create the basic email template so that your emails look professional and have all your contact details to hand.

Session 3

Autoresponders 

This session will cover the set up of emails that are sent automatically when people sign up for your list. You’ll get some templates to help you decide what to talk about an how many emails to send. We’ll also have a co working session this week where we all get on with the doing but I’m around for extra support if needed.

Session 4

Connect it all up

In this final session we will be creating a fabulous landing page that you can send people to so they can sign up for your freebie. We’ll also cover how to add a form to your website or share on social media so you can start asking people to join your list wherever you are.  
PLUS I will personally sign up for your freebie and let you know if I spot any errors or issues with it.

How does it work?

Sign up for the programme and get started creating your content

When you sign up for the programme you get a workbook to help you with the structure and wording for your emails. This will help you to be really clear on what you want to achieve. 

We meet each week online for a live call where I show you how to do the tasks for the session.

I’ll show you exactly what you need to know to complete each task. You can ask questions as we go and I’ll record the session and send you a recording which you can watch again as you work through the tasks. 

You have time to complete the tasks before we meet again.

You have a week to carry out the tasks for each session (you get a checklist for each session to help you stay on track).

At the end of the course I test your signup for you

I’ll work through your signup and record my first impressions, and making sure it works perfectly ready for you to share with the world.

You share your brilliant freebie with the world and start getting new subscribers.

You’ll have a gorgeous signup page, a fabulous freebie and confidence that the email sequences are going to work for new subscribers. You’ll be happy to share with all your potential new customers!

What dates and times are the calls?

The calls are weekly for 4 weeks on Thursday at 12.00pm London time starting on the TBC November. Calls last about an hour though if there are questions I will continue for longer to get them answered.

Who are you? Why should I work with you?

What does each session cover?

The 4 weeks of live, online tutorials (plus recordings) cover:

  • Session 1. Creating a Freebie. What could you create (ebook, audio download and video) and how to make it beautiful in Canva. 
  • Session 2. Setting up your Mailerlite Account. All the basics and some GPDR essentials.
  • Session 3. Creating auto responder emails to send to new subscribers.
  • Session 4. Creating a beautiful signup (or landing) page to wow potential clients.
I already have Mailchimp. Will you show me how to move to Mailerlite?

If you already have a Mailchimp account but don’t yet have a freebie then it is pretty straightforward to move. If you have been using Mailchimp for a while you might want to read this blog to see if you should stick with them. You will learn all you need to know to get set up in MailerLite and there will be a small extra task of importing your existing subscribers which is covered during the course.

What else do I need to complete this course?

1. A free MailerLite account

2. Some content for a great Freebie (this is what we call the document, audio file or video that you give people for free when you invite them to sign up for your email list).

3.  Content for the emails you plan to send and also for the forms you use. You can see the various stages that need to be created in this freebie I have made.

4. A Domain based email address. To get your emails to deliver you need your own email address (you@yourdomain.com) rather than free webmail. I explain all this in the first session.

5. A sense of humour. Not strictly essential but it certainly helps 🙂 I aim to have fun as teaching you the tech!

How long will it take me each week?

This varies depending on how fancy you want your offerings to look; the more time you put in the better it will be.

I recommend setting aside at least 2 hours a week to carry out the work we cover in the live trainings (4 hours in total). You also need to write the content for the freebie and the emails which can take some people much longer than they think!

I'm not very good with computers, will I really be able to do it?

If you are willing to get stuck in an give it a go then yes! You’ll have support along the way so if you get stuck you only need to ask.

I can't make the live sessions. Will I still be able to do this course?

All the sessions are recorded so you will be able to watch them when convenient. If you have questions you can email them and I will answer them on the next call and in the Facebook group. It may not be quite as good as doing it live but you will still learn all you need to get your email marketing sorted.

Do you offer a guarantee?

Yes! If you complete the workbook and attend the first 2 calls and feel that you aren’t being taught how to set up your email marketing in an easy to understand way then I will give you your money back.
